FW 190 emergency landed east of Tønder 16/2 1945.

The FW 190 landed at 17:55 hrs in a field belonging to Chairman of the parish counsil Peter Poulsen 150 meters west of Lille Emmerske. The aircraft skidded over two fields and a ditch before it came to a halt.

The pilot who was unharmed used the telephone at Peter Poulsen`s farm to call base and to track the FW 190 that had landed near Jejsing. The aircrafts had been circling the area around Tønder trying to establish where they were. This aircraft was guarded by Zeitfreiwilliger Peter Hanquist, Oluf Hanquist and Arnold Hansen.
