Ju 88 A-12 serial number 3322 crashed into the Øresund 22/1-1944

The aircraft belonged to Flufzeug Führer Schule B 34 and was coded NA+QE.
T/o Kastrup  Op: Training flight

 

The aircraft crashed into Øresund east of Copenhagen at 14:50 hrs killing all four on board.  The bodies of Pilot Oberfeldwebel Wilhelm Matetazki,  Gefreiter Stafan Smalders, and Gefreiter Heinz Cranauer have no known grave while the body Obergefreiter Bernhard Vieth was found later on the same day. He was laid to rest in Trelleborg in Sweden on 29/1-1944.
