Ju 188 A-2 crashed in the Baltic 23/8 1944.

The aircraft belonged to 7./KG 6 and was coded ?
T/o Ahlhorn OP: Flight to København (Copenhagen)

The Ju 188 must have crashed into The Baltic / Kiel Bay on its flight from Ahlhorn to København as the Bordfunker Unteroffizier Hans Krämer today rest in Esbjerg cemetery. He was laid to rest on 4/9-1944.

The rest of the crew has no known grave. They were: Flugzeugführer Uffz Kurt Melzer, Kampfbeobachter Uffz Hubert Wattenbach, Bordschütze Ogfr Heinz Filsinger and Bordschütze Uffz Willi  Petry.

Note: The Namenbuch gives Hans Krämers date of death as 28/8-1944. That must be the day his body was found.
