Bf 109G crashed at Fliegerhorst Aalborg Ost 27/10 1944.

The aircraft belonged to 1./ JG 102 and was coded ?
T/o Aalborg Ost.  Op: Training

Student Pilot Flieger Fähnrich Werner Speckmann was practising touch and go in a Bf 109G at Fliegerhorst Aalborg Ost.
After having touched down he apparently pushed the throttle forward too fast.
The great torque of the Daimler Benz engine forced the aircraft to rotate around itself and it hit the ground upside down thus killing Speckmann.

Flieger Fähnrich Werner Speckmann was laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 1/11 1944.
