Bf 109G-12 crashed near Fliegerhorst Aalborg West 23/9 1944.

The aircraft belonged ?./ JG 102 to and was coded ?
T/o Aalborg.  Op: Training


The Bf 109 was doing landing practice when it for reasons unknown crashed near Alborg West killing the crew of two.

Hauptmann Helmut Scott and Feldwebel Heinz Schleuer was laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 29/9 1944.

It is believed that it was a Bf 109G-12 that crashed near Aalborg West.  JG102 lost a Bf 109 on 23/9 and a Ar 96 on the day after. It is however not clear to which staffel they belonged.
