The aircraft belonged to 1./ JG 102 and was coded ?
T/o Fliegerplatz Aalborg Ost. Op: Training.

Student Pilot Fahnenjunker Unteroffizier Claus-Ulrich Drews was practising precision landings in the Arado 96 when he made a turn at too low speed, stalled and got into a spinn and crashed into the waters of Limfjorden near Fliegerplatz Aalborg Ost.

The Arado was a 100% loss and Unteroffizier Claus-Ulrich Drews lost his life. He was laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 29/9 1944.
