Bf 109G-6 serial number 163723 crashed west of Fliegerhorst Aalborg West 5/9 1944.

The aircraft belonged to 1./ JG 102 and was coded ?
T/o Aalborg Ost.  Op: Training.

Student Pilot Fahnenjunker Feldwebel Albert Koch was on a training flight with a number of other aircrafts when his aircraft suffered from engine failure.
The Bf 109G crashed to the ground at Gjøl west of Fliegerhorst Aalborg West killing Albert Koch. The aircraft came down in a haystack about 10 metres from a farm house and a fire started.

Fahnenjunker Feldwebel Albert Koch was laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 12/9 1944.
