Bf 109G-2 serial number 963 emergency landed near Aalborg
12/8 1944.
The aircraft belonged to 1./ JG 102 and was coded ?
T/o Fliegerhorst Aalborg West. Op: Training.
Student Pilot Fahnenjunker and Unteroffizier Günter Schopa was on a training flight
when his Bf 109G-2 suffered from a enginefailure and he made an emergency
landing in the Aalborg area.
He somehow hit his head during the landing and was
taken to Luftwaffe Lazarett XIII/11 Aalborg for treatment.
