Ju 88A-4 serial number 2320 crashed west of Fliegerhorst Aalborg West 23/4 1944.


The aircraft belonged to 9./ KG 30 and was coded 4D+FX
T/o Aalborg West. Op: Training.


The Ju 88 crashed into the waters of Limfjorden near Gjøl about three kilometres west of Fliegerhorst Aalborg West killing the crew of four.

Unteroffizier Walter Petzold, Gefreiter Klemens Niesen, Obergefreiter Kurt Schulze and Unteroffizier Walter Augustin were all laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 29/4 1944.
