JU 88A-4 serial number 5868 crashed east of Hals 27/2 1944.


The aircraft belonged to 10./ KG 30 and was coded 4D+FU.
T/o Aalborg West. Op: Training.


The aircraft crashed in the sea of Kattegat about 22 kilometres east of Hals killing Feldwebel Walter Wichborn, Obergeferiter Karl Feichte and Gefreiter Willi Schmidt.
They were laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 6/3 1944.
