The Ju 88 crashed at Fliegerplatz Aalborg Ost due to technical failure killing the crew of two and becoming a 100% loss.

Pilot Leutnant Hermann Bier and Engineer Feldwebel Heinz Schur were laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 9/2 1944.
