Kl 35 serial number 1722 crashed near Vordingborg 8/1 1944.


The aircraft belonged to Flugzeug Führer Schule A10 and was coded ?
T/o Avnø. Op: Training.


The Kl 35 hit some electrical wires and crashed into a field near Ørslev at 10:30 hours and was a 100% loss.

Student pilot Unteroffizier Richard Lankenau was injured and was taken to the hospital in Næstved by a Danish ambulance.

Pilot Unteroffizier Günther Lühmann lost his life and was by Luftwaffe personnel taken to Fliegerplatz Avnø .
He was laid to rest in Bispebjerg cemetery in København on 13/1 at 08:00 hours. His remains were on 5/1 1945 moved to København Vestre cemetery where he rest today.
