BV 138 damaged in Rønne Harbour on the island of Bornholm 20/12 1943.


The aircraft belonged to 1./ Küstenfliegerergänzungsgruppe (See) and was coded 6H+PH.
T/o NA Op: NA.


At 23:10 hours on the evening of 20/12 it was reported by Oberleutnant that BV 138 6H+PH had lost its moorings due to a storm and had drifted ashore and was under partial water. At 09:30 hours on the morning of 21/12 he reported that BV 138 coded 6H+NH had lost its mooring and had drifted towards land and had hit 6H+PH.

On 30/12 both aircrafts was salvaged by Bergungsprahm BP 45.
6H+PH was transported to Travemünde on 5/1 1944 and 6H+NH followed later.
