Ju 88A-4 serial number 6607 crashed near Fliegerplatz Værløse 12/3 1943.


The aircraft belonged to Schiessschule d. Luftwaffe and was coded ?
T/o Værløse Op: Conversion flight.


Pilot Oberfeldwebel Georg Gügel took off from Fliegerplatz Værløse on a conversion flight with Flight Instructor Oberfeldwebel Hans Müller and Engineer Obergefreiter Gerhard Becker.

The Ju 88 crashed just south west of the Fliegerplatz due to pilot error killing the crew of three.
They were all laid to rest in København Bispebjerg cemetery.
Later their remains have been disinterred and moved to København Vestre cemetery.

The Ju 88 was a 100% loss.
