At 13:08 hours the Bf 109 crashed 1 kilometre southwest of Fliegerplatz Aalborg
Ost killing Pilot Unteroffizier Anton Hunold.
The crash is believed to be due to
pilot error and the aircraft was a 100% loss.
Unteroffizier Anton Hunold was laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 22/8
1942.
