He 111B-1 serial number 2336 emergency landed near Odder 13/8 1942.


The aircraft belonged to Ld. Kdo. 64 and was coded 8.

At approximately 15:00 hours the He 111 was seen approaching Ask about 7 kilometres northwest of Odder from the south and made a belly landing in a field belonging to Askgaard farm.

During the landing that was caused by engine failure it hit some high tension leads and damaged its tail. It was 60% damaged but the crew of four were unharmed.
