Bf 109E serial number 5238 crashed at Fliegerhorst Grove
5/8 1942.
The aircraft belonged to Jagdgruppe Drontheim (Jagdfl. Schule 3) and was coded ?
T/o Grove. Op: Training.
The aircraft crashed at Fliegerhorst Grove due to engine fire and was a 95%
loss.
The pilot was unharmed.
Note: It should be noted that the Bf 109 by Luftflotte 5 is recorded as
belonging to IV/ JG 5.
