Bf 109E belly landed west of Tarm 15/5 1942.


The aircraft belonged to 9. / JG 11 and was coded Gelbe 11.
T/o Esbjerg. Op: Patrol of the West coast.


The Bf 109F made a belly landing in a field belonging to Niels Rasmussen, Vestermarkvej 31 two kilometres west of Tarm at approximately 14:50 hours.
 
The pilot was unharmed and there was no serious damage to the aircraft that was dismantled and transported back to base by the Luftwaffe.
