Bf 109D serial number 430 crashed near Aulum 16/7 1941.


The aircraft belonged to Jagdgruppe Drontheim (Jagdfl. Schule 3) and was coded ?
T/o Grove. Op: Training.


The Bf 109 crashed burning at 11:30 hours at Varhede moor north of Aulum killing Student Pilot Gefreiter Robert Jansson who was laid to rest in Aalborg cemetery.
 
The aircraft is recorded as a 100% loss.
