Bf 110C-2 serial number 3491 crashed near Fliegerhorst
Værløse 30/8 1940.
The aircraft belonged to Erg. Zer. Gr. Vaerloese and was coded NG+XO.
T/o Værløse. Op: Training.
The Bf 110 crashed at Baunegaarden Farm at Lille Værløse near Fliegerhorst Værløse on the island of
Sjælland.
The aircraft was damaged 50% but the reason for the crash in unknown.
The pilot suffered from head injuries after having hit the dashboard with his
head. In addition he had broken a leg while the gunner had broken his arm.
