Ju 88C-2 crash landed at Fliegerhorst Aalborg West 15/8 1940.


The aircraft belonged to 8. / KG 30 and was coded ?
T/o Aalborg West. Op: Bombing attack on the English east coast.


The aircraft had been damaged by fighters over England and crashed during landing at Aalborg West wounding the crew and rending the aircraft 75% damaged.

The crew were Feldwebel Siegfried Matschke, Bombardier Unteroffizier Joachim Resin, Air Gnr. Unteroffizier Werner Jünnemann and Wop Feldwebel Alfred Schumann.
