Bomber Command (AIR14/3412+3421+2083+2679)

Total of 897 aircrafts were detailed for operation on this night. 41 were lost.

Stettin
403 Lancasters and 1 Mosquito of 1, 3, 6 and 8 Groups.
23 Lancasters lost.

Königsberg
189 Lancasters of 5 Group.
15 Lancasters lost.

Mining.
42/43 Lancasters and Halifaxes laid 183 mines off Pillau, Danzig, Gdynia and Swinemünde and in the Cadet Channel.
The remaining aircraft was lost.

Bomber support.
49 Mosquitos on Serrate and Intruder patrols. 26 heavies operated Josttle and Mandrel and dropped windows and 125/133 aircrafts carried out a diversionary sweep as far as 5430N 0600E.
2 Wellingtons of the diversionary force were lost.

Minor operations.
16/17 Mosquitos bombed Hamburg. 19/21 bombed Berlin, 2/ 4 bombed Leverkusen. 2/2 OBOE Mosquitos bombed Cologne, 4/4 attacked Florennes and 3/5 attacked Le Culot.
All returned.

Special operations.
8/12 aircrafts completed signals investigation patrols, and an aircraft carried out a photo recce.
All returned safely.
