The aircraft belonged to RAF ?? Sqn Bomber Command and was coded ??-?.
To: ?. Op: Stettin.
The Lancaster was hit by flak from Lei Flak Abt. 985 under command of Hauptmann
Seifert at 00:18 hours and crashed at Strandgården farm near Halskov killing all
on board.
It is believed that this crew were laid to rest as unknown airmen in København Bispebjerg cemetery on 28/4-1943, reported as having died on
21/4-1943.
