Blenheim IV V6026 shot down in the North Sea off Holland
on 2/8-1941.
The aircraft belonged to RAF 82 Sqn. Bomber Command and was coded UX-M.
T/O 13:15 Bodney. OP: Anti shipping in Beat 9.
While attacking a German Vorpostboot west of Den Helder, Blenheim V6026 was hit
by flak and crashed into the sea.
W/C Kenyon O. Burt DFC rests in Bergen op Zoom War Cemetery while Observer Sgt
William T. Ellis DFM now rests in Kiel War Cemetery.
W/Op-Air Gnr. F/Sgt Angus D.W. Curr is believed to have been found on the beach
of the island of Mandø and was laid to rest in Fovrfelt cemetery, Esbjerg on 5/9 1941.

Curr along with the bodies of two English and two German
flyer was taken from Mandø to Ribe by Wehrmacht soldiers on 2/9-41. From Ribe
they were taken to Esbjerg where they were all laid to rest on 5/9-1941.
